Dr. Keith Livingstone is a native of Fort Worth. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a BS in Biology, and then went on to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating in 1983. He spent the next 3 years in Houston, doing an internship and residency in Family Practice Medicine and then moved back to Fort Worth in 1986 and worked in a couple of group practices. Dr. Livingstone had the opportunity to hang his shingle in Southwest Fort Worth when there were more fields than buildings and has now worked for 20+ years as a solo family practitioner in southwest Fort Worth. He thanks God, his loyal staff members, and the many patients who have placed their confidence in him over the years making his practice a bona fide Family Practice.

Dr. Livingstone served as President of the Tarrant County Academy of Family Practice in 1997, after holding several leadership positions. He remains active in the monthly meetings and satisfies the required credits of Continuing Education each year. He is also a member of the Tarrant County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.

Over the past 5 years, Dr. Livingstone has participated in the Center for Medicare and Center for Disease Control recommendations and has exceeded the qualifications needed to successfully attest for Meaningful Use and the PQRS-Physician Quality Reporting Services.

Dr. Livingstone is especially proud of his family. He and his wife, Julie, have been especially blessed with a family of boys…3 grown sons, and amazing daughter-in-law, a very special grand-nephew, and a grandson plus one on the way.

Dr. Livingstone is actively involved at his church. He has taught in the children’s program of BSF and has been a board member for Sandy Creek Bible Camp for several years. “A cheerful heart doeth good like a medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22. When you get to know Dr. Livingstone, you know he has a cheerful heart…except perhaps when challenged by computer issues.

Additional Interests

Dr. Livingstone interests include family, church, photography, wildflowers, trimming trees, rivers, waterfall hikes, sports, and learning to fly a drone.
